How do I get started?

We have a couple of options on how to get started at Thrive...

One off class - for a little taste of Thrive, you can definitely come along and try a casual class!

The Thrive Intro Offer- if you’re looking to change you routine and immerse yourself in the Thrive way of life, come and try our intro offer! You get unlimited classes for 21 days for only $99 - this is a great trial for those looking to make real changes in their life and for those looking for regular classes.

Visiting the area? We have an awesome 7 day Visitors Pass (unlimited classes for a week!) so you can keep moving your body while you’re on holidays!

What can I expect from my first class?

We’ve heard it all before - I’ve done pilates previously and it was so boring! I thought it was just stretching?!

There are so many types of pilates out there these days – traditional, high intensity, clinical. We have taken the fundamentals of this incredible modality and added the Thrive twist to it to get the heartrate up & those muscles shaking!

We aim to show you just how strong your body is and we will challenge & support you to push yourself to do things you didn’t know you could do!

Do I need to know what I’m doing?

Absolutely not! Our incredibly supportive instructor team will guide you through every single class, every single time! We will give you options and modifications to account for injuries etc but you essentially get to come in, lay down and get bossed around for 45 minutes!

We will have members in the Studio who have been doing Pilates since we opened and some who have only just started - you will be VERY well looked after no matter how much experience you have!

Do I need to be flexible / strong?

No - you don’t!!

We generally do a mixed workout of pilates, cardio, strength & resistance work and we cater for all levels of fitness!

We like to give you options within the classes too so there will always be something for you to do, plus there are modifications and alternate exercises available throughout the classes as well!

How do I book a class?

We have our own app which makes managing your classes REALLY simple! All classes do require a booking as we only have limited equipment and we don’t want anyone to show up and miss out!

We have an awesome waitlist facility which means if the class you want is full, you can pop yourself onto the waitlist and when someone cancels out, you are automatically added to the class & notified via text message.

What if I’m a bit scared to start?

Oh we get it - it can be intimidating starting a new exercise routine or going somewhere new!

All I can say is - we’ve got you! We will look after you and help you realise that exercise and movement can be fun!

We try not take it all too seriously - we want you to walk out with a smile on your face, excited to come back for your next class!
